Christiana's Journal, 12 December 2010

I've been really good on the diet and exercising the last few days up until last night. Finals are done, this semester for better or for worse, is finished. Day before yesterday I ran a full 2 miles. My time wasn't great (23.13)but it was the first time I've done that in quite a few years. It's weird but my breathing was bothering me more then my legs were. I guess that's a good thing. Building up lung capacity isn't as bad as leg strength I think. Although I was doing running fast ½ miles in between my walking ½ miles yesterday and my calves are sore today.

Anyways after two days of been good. I was bad last night for dinner. I did three miles and lunch was a bit later than usual. Anyways I celebrated my end of semester with most of a bottle of wine, then I ate about half a rack of ribs(YUM), then finished the night with homemade brownie with vanilla ice cream. Afterwards, I felt horrible. Too much sweet chocolaty stuff on top of too much food. My stomach was mad at me this morning. Wine, ribs and brownie, bad combination.

Then as always after a day like that I'm right back on track today. I also don't have to worry about class for awhile and I expect to be getting in a lot of running over that next few weeks, weather permitting.

Big congrats on being done with finals! I remember feeling the biggest weight off of my shoulders after they were over! Good job on treating yourself too! You deserve it after ALL of your hard work over the past 4 months :o)
