im so disappointed in myself. stopped smoking and 12 kg picked up already

Why in the world are you disappointed at yourself? 🌸 You are trying to kick one “habit” and that is bound to negatively affect another “habit”. 🌈 Take your time, find your feet, manage your focus and congratulate yourself each day for getting through it without regressing. I quit during lockdown and picked up 8kg's - but slowly started to watch my food portions and resisting the cigarette temptations - feeling so much better and healthier - I know it's hard, but hang in there!

I’ve never smoked but I hear this is common when quitting. Don’t stop at that number on the scale and give up. It’s just a little slip up,you can overcome this. You already overcame an incredible challenge of breaking a bad habit, smoking. You are on your way to a healthier you already.

I quit smoking when the cigarette ban was in place! Forced situation! I puffed up after. Like with all other forced situations, i had to start eating and exercising! Smoking is honestly 1 of those unhealthy eating triggers. Start smoking, you end up slacking with your workouts 😤coffee (added sugar) with a smoke or fizzy drinks! Maybe for you the quitting is still early days, but you will definitely be proud of yourself in the next few weeks! 21 days for a new habit to kick in 💟good luck
