Well..... Here I am. A place where I swore I'd never be again. Over 350. Now I'm much much more than that.

I've tried so many times to lose weight and it comes back to bite me in the tush..lol

I would just have the lap band surgery if I could(Insurance won't pay for it) and do it that way. But I'm unable to do that. So I'm going to try this last time and do it for me.

I think other times I may have been doing it for family or friends and never really got into it. But after going to the doctor yesterday and weighing in at over 400lbs, I realize if I don't do something soon, then I may not even be here by Christmas. I have High Blood Pressure and just recently been diagnosed with Type2 diabetes. I have severe sleep apnea and hypothyroidism. Most days my feet and legs are so swollen from fluid that I can't even think of wearing any shoes but flip flops of crocs. I recently had to quit my job because I couldn't stand on my feet for 10 hours a day doing what I love. I worked at Sears and was SoftLines Lead and actually loved it! but I just couldn't do it anymore because of my health.

I have over 200 lbs to lose and I know that's alot, I'm not going to look at it in those intervals. I'm breaking it up 10lbs at a time. and hopefully with that small amount I can see a difference in the numbers and it will give me the motivation that I'll need to stick with this.

Welcome to FS Billie! There are so many wonderful supportive people here who are willing to offer support and motivation, you're in the right place! 10 lb goals are a wonderful idea and less overwhelming than one big goal. I wish you so much luck in your weight loss journey, you CAN do it! (O:

Welcome... This is the place to come for sure. You will get lots of support here. Don't be shy and feel free to post how you are feeling and doing. If you fall off your weight-loss journey, plenty of us will be there to get you back on it. You'll be surprised how motivated you'll get if you stick with us. Check out the challenges and forums when you are ready. And heck, just have fun getting healthy.
