Well I’m struggling the last two days dying to eat pizza ( not the healthy type) and chocolate. I don’t know why unhealthy food is so comforting. I keep telling myself just get through today and tomorrow will be gorgeous outside and I will be proud of myself for resisting.

My mindset is so much better when I exercise and diet together. If I don’t get my exercise I just want to eat. Ughhhh

RedskinsKelly, comfort food is all about "warm fuzzies." Cucumber it ain't! Here's hoping you're able to stay on track with diet and exercise!

For me, it helps to let myself have it but to control the portions by going to the Italian place that sells pizza by the slice so I don’t have a box full of pizza at home. 🍕 (If my approach works for you, use it; if not, just disregard my comment.)

Thanks for the support. I made it through the night without the pizza. I feel better about being dedicated and not giving in. Some days are so difficult and the holidays will be here before you know it. I want to look and feel my best. I want to live my best life being healthy

Hubby and I try to eat out once a week. We stay strict all week long and if we are craving something we talk about eating it Saturday night. Like Me,myseldandi said go ahead and have it but control the portion---and delay gratification if you can. Lots of times that craving passes and something else takes its place--but plan on having a small portion of whatever you want most, or a tasty meal "on Saturday".
