Multiplicity1's Journal, 17 July 2010

Well I'm back on OWL. I ate some macadamias yesterday because my blood sugar was 78 late in the evening and I needed to eat some carbs to get my blood sugar up. I had forgotten that low blood sugars were one reason I went on to OWL from Induction in the first place. My cravings have been
knocked out by the days I spent on Induction anyway I think. If it gets bad again I will try to go back on Induction for a few days if I need to. Its a balancing act trying to keep my blood sugar from going too low overnight.
My husband felt a little dizzy tonight and had some tingling, shock like feelings. He wasn't quite as fatigued as yesterday. I will be glad to hear what our doctor has to say about his symptoms. It may take a while to get in to see a neurologist. I am calmer today about the situation. He is calmer today too.
No cravings tonight and did fine with my food. We went to a movie so we didn't get a walk in. Tomorrow we get to go to church together. I have just been sort of stumbling through the days without making a real plan. Tomorrow I will try to be more mindful and get some of my other activities like meditation and visualization and walking in. I got on the scale this morning and I weighed 207.1. I am so ready to get under 200. I will get there when I'm supposed to...It will be the last time I ever see 200 so I can be patient. My clothes are looser and I haven't measured myself in weeks. I need to do that one of these days.
I hope everyone is having a delightful evening.

Looser clothes are the BEST indicator of getting fit, not the scale. I know you want to see that number below 200 and I admire your patience and understanding of the process. I could learn from you! I'm SO impatient. I really see this next phase as a challenge for me. I'll persevere, but could sure use a dose of patience... Oh hey, I just saw you dropped over another pound!! Congratulations! You'll be there in no time!
