went to the MD today for checkup and didn't eat lunch before I went. left ravenously hungry and decided to get a hamburger. So in my hunger, try to never let that happen, I ordered a bacon cheddar burger. It was delicious! I do not let myself go to red meat often since harder to stay with lower calories overall. I then went home and grandson was here and wanted to make sugar cookies. So we did. BAD IDEA! I am an addict. I knew that. I cannot be around that kind of food. I ate 5. my reason was, "Ok lets just make this a cheat day and go for it". Later, I kept thinking that there was rib-eye steak left in the fridge from my grandson,... I ate it and went to bed. Ok , so I am typing this the next morning. My thoughts are... the hamburger could have been less caloric and still be enjoyed, the cookies really weren't that satisfying and had no food value, and the steak was wonderful. Therefore, I need to add a little more red meat, don't even make cookies, and get back on the calorie count that is helping me successfully regain my life.
