Dun dun dun...

I'm reading. Dangerous stuff, I know. I'm about 50 pages into the Spike Diet book. It's the diet that forum member russellb97 wrote. I was a little wary of him at first, because I was worried he was a spammer, but he's stuck around long enough and given enough helpful (non-spammy) advice that I got curious and ordered his book. I'll be sure to give you guys a review once I've finished the book and tried it out for a little bit. Hooray for being a guinea pig!

I've really been enjoying the gym. I did however make the mistake of going after work instead of the morning. Damn that place was crowded. I gave up on waiting for certain weights and just made up a workout on the spot. I'm just going to wake up earlier from now on because I hate crowds. I went this morning around 6AM and there were only 3 other people in the gym. That's the way I like it.

Love that pic :) I like russellb97 too and had the same, "what are you selling buddy?" reaction at first. I'll be curious to know what you think of the Spike diet. It seems not totally unreasonable to me :) But for myself, I've trained myself to not think of binging as a pleasant thing and I've convinced myself that feeling overly full is the worst feeling on earth aside from a root canal. So... I'd be wary of trying it myself. But I can see why it would work for others and it sounds like he has had good results with his clients. Keep us up to date!

I'll be curious to know how the book goes. I hear what you're saying about the gym. I go during lunch and it can be a bit crowded, but evening workout times are the worst. Good luck with the morning workouts!

Speaking of workouts, russellb97 sent me some workouts that I've been using. I don't know if they're the same ones in the book (since I haven't got to that part yet), but I like 'em. I've had to sub some of the exercises since I don't have a spotter, but I get a great workout in a short amount of time.
