We haven't been able to plant a garden. Too wet and muddy. Got some onions in and at this late date consider ourselves lucky to get zucchini, cukes and tomatoes. Totally missed being able to plant peas, broc and cauliflower. So happy to hear you're doing well. Take care and have a relaxing weekend.

Kathryn, really hot here also. It went from snow on April 22 into the high 80s. missed spring also so no cool weather veggies made it in this year. May try for a fall from after the green and Jacob beans are done. I would love some fresh kale and arugala. Kathy, we have simply odd weather. With this hot weather, I know I will have to call my AC guy in June and give my old AC unit a shot of Freon. It's been a couple years so probably due. Just hoping it makes it through this summer.

Exercise today is mowing the grass and more working on the yard before it gets too hot. A cardio day. Maybe some TRX later. It's a pretty morning. Memorial Day will be a quiet one for me mostly getting organized for going back to work tomorrow. Graduation for one GD last week and a birthday party for a GS this Sat. I left my gym bag at my oldest daughters last weekend including my swim suit and locker lock. Had to invest in new ones. I will have a gym bag packed and in my car daily so I can run to the gym after work. I have fruit for a fruit salad and a watermelon to cut up so they will be in the frig and easy. Not certain what else for food yet.

NO not Fall! Kathy. I actually LOVE spring and summer. The humidity for me is killer and we had 5 inches of rain Thurs night, everything is still soaked and the humidity is 80+ at the moment and 2 noon the heat index is 100. I wish I could breathe in the "heavy" air better like I used to. Spent the morning mowing so the yard looks pretty good. If there was a breeze I'd be outside hope one kicks in.

I agree. 95 and the humidity and the sun have created pop up storms, it's currently quite a downpour out there. It will just get more humid once it has past by. Inside cutting up a lovely sweet watermelon to have handy for the week. GD Chyann left for work with a freezer bag full of it. Next will be the cantaloupe, a canary melon and a papaya. I actually don't like papaya plain but like it in smoothies and in small pieces in a fruit salad. Something about the texture. The workout muscles in my arms from yesterday are making me take a break now and then.

Fall is OK it just means winter is coming and I do NOT like winter in Missouri. I love being outside and winter means little of that. Here the humidity can limit time outside for me due to asthma but usually if there is a breeze it's OK. unusual for us not to have some wind and we haven't had much except around storms lately. I think much of the country missed out on spring this year.
