Today has been a great day. Worship was fantastic and could not have gone any better. Then to find out that the young man who will be leading worship in my absence was in attendance at church today to "get a feel for what worship is like on a normal basis", well.... I'm glad I wasn't aware of this before leading today, lol! Someone once said to me that musicians are the most insecure people, I agree. We're bashful as all get go!!

I waited till yesterday to try the keytone tests trips. After 2.5 days I was level 15 (small); today I tested again and I'm up two levels to 80 (Large!)!! My doctor told me that this reading would excite me, motivate me, validate me but I was too upset to hear it/trust it. She was right though, I feel great seeing this change happen.

I'm eating just as I should be eating. I'm not punishing myself by restricting. I'm taking all of the vitamins and supplements she's directed me too including the two I call "Yucky Cap(sule) and Yucky Shot (a lemon lime powder that's to be dissolved in 8 0z of water that I now mix in about 3 oz of water and shoot it down like it was tequilla!).

I'm vigilant to my food log no matter what I put in my mouth.
I purchased a food scale so that once in for all I will know what 4 ounces of cheese really is. This is going to hurt, I know this already.

I purchased a shot glass for cooks that has Ounce, Teaspoon and Tablespoon measurements on it so that I don't guess when I'm eating out and need to measure salad dressings and such.

I thank God that I didn't give up my willingness to stay committed to my weight loss plan when I was so down on myself after my doctor visit. I was on the fence about it all day thinking this was the opportunity I could take advantage of since clearly I was out of ketosis anyway.
