gaining 0.2 lb a week

Well, I'm kind of starting it again. I went from 97kg to 83kg, then back to almost 89kg. I started dieting again on 30. December 2017, this is day 7 now. I hope that this time I'm gonna reach my goal. Despite the weight gain I still feel happy about not gaining all the weight back, and being able to start it over before I gain even more.

I managed to lose 9 pounds in a little more than a month. I even binged a few times! I usually try to eat around 1200kcals, quite a few days were 1400-1500. When I dieted before, if I went over 1200, I felt like what the heck, and ate until sick. Now, even when I binged on several ice cream cones, I stayed under 1800-2000 calories every day (once 2300, but only once). It really helps a lot mentally, that even on binging days, I don't eat enough to gain the weight back, and I can keep a cool head and count those calories, too. It didn't use to be this way.
It's really hard to start a diet, because one would like to get over with it as fást as possible, but the truth is that, at least for me, I can only lose about 8 pounds in a month. Since I intended to lose about 60 pounds, it's frightening, that I have to diet for about 7-8 months alltogether. I noticed that after about 3 weeks, it became much easier, you kind of really get used to it, and if I want to eat more, I eat more, just stay under 2000kcal.
I am going back to college this weekend, and I am a bit afraid, not just because its really exhausting in itself, but it's considerably harder to diet when you don't have a kitchen.
It's hard to say but during college, I have gained 40 pounds due to stress eating, the unability to cook for myself, fást food and studying late at night and using sugary food to try to stay awake. By now, I am only about 10lbs away from my college starting weight. I am really excited to be that weight again, even though I was overweight then, too, but I felt kinda okay.
I really like this site, and that there are other people out there like me who go through the same struggles with their weight as I do. Good luck for us!:)
