Day one, got off my ass and went to the gym, and had a moderate work out - sweat and all. Kinda circuit-ish, nothing two heavy. 10 minutes on the elliptical was a breathing-heavy and sweaty endeavor. I remember when I could PT for an hour in the Army years ago and still go to the gym later on. New goal. Run a 5k before summer.

I don't know what diet, or what path. Thinking low-carb, low/no-sugar, cal count and exercise to start. See where that goes.
