Anyone else feel the need to weigh themselves every day? I know it's frowned upon by the Atkins plan, but it's the best way for me to hold myself accountable. I slipped off the plan after reaching my goal Feb 2011, quit weighing myself daily, and low & behold I gained 17 pounds in a year! It didn't help that I was working at a military base overseas where most everything was heavilly processed and loaded with carbs. Granted, I could have made better choices, and will when I return to work mid-May, but I was weak and chose the easy route, and paid dearly for it! I'm trying to lose what I gained, plus 5 additional pounds. I've lost 8 pounds- only 14 more to go & 6 weeks is my goal. My struggles now are getting my daily water intake and finding the motivation to get off the couch and exercise. I vow to start exercising today and do 30 minutes on the treadmill. I have the time and the resources, but my willpower & motivation are at ZERO. Need to jumpstart that soon. Thank you FatSecret for being my sounding board!
