How do I get off the Plateau I find myself stuck on ?
I started my weight loss journey at 300 lbs and within a year lost nearly 95 lbs. (before I discovered with wonderful site). Then I hit a plateau that has lasted over six months. At first I was desperate to get off the plateau, but then my doctor said that sometimes the body needs time to adjust to losing the weight. This was actually a good thing, she said, because while I'm not losing, I'm actually more active and am building muscles. Another plus is that I don't have really saggy skin from losing so much weight. I have another fifty pounds or so to go, so I kinda hope the plateau is over soon, but I think patience will have its rewards eventually, maybe at my next weigh-in.

Exercise Ideas for the Disabled
I had the same problem until about a year ago, when I discovered Tai Chi which helped with my balance (due to an auto accident)and, even helped me stop shuffling along everywhere because I was afraid of falling. Then I started roller exercises, you can find them on YouTube for myofacial massage of my leg muscles which also helped. Hope this gives you some ideas...
