I did Atkins in 2010 and lost 28lb, going from 198lb to 170lb in 3 months.
Then I put it all on again, short of 2lb! :(
So in 2011 I began again, losing another 28lb in 3 months. Yet again I gained it all back, and then some!
2019!
Here we go again! Eight years on and how life has changed. I turned 50 last year. 3 kids married and flown. 3 others adult and working. And a little grandson to run around after.
Starting at 198lb yet again! I see a pattern developing!
I found the Atkins diet suited me quite well except for the lack of veggies. So I have very high hopes for the Ketogenic diet.
Update: I’ve been so impressed by the science behind the low carb protocol, I’m now studying to become a qualified Diet and Nutritionist so I can help existing and new clients reach their goals and reverse many of their chronic health issues.
