Maybe my weight is finally going down a little. It's so hard! I really want 7 pounds gone by the end of April. I am eating good except we have Easter candy in the house nad even though I might only eat a few pieces (like 3-4) and know it is only like 220 calories, I know I need to cut that out. But, it's so tasty! So, I'll keep trying to not do that. I've also been eating salads which can get really boring. BUT - we've been adding fun vegetables to them like bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, boiled egg, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots - amazing how much more filling and tasty they are with more than just lettuce. I don't eat cheese on it. But, I do allow myself low-fat ranch dressing. Without it, I would not be quiet as happy. So, that has been very nice to have. I am still liking boot camp a lot. I just have to get some more non-boot camp exercise in. I did good on week 1 of boot camp by walking the opposite days, but need to keep that up.

Well, Easter almost did me in - too much tasty food! I didn't eat much chocolate though - just a couple of pieces. But, the rest of the food - OMG. So good. My friend Kari & I started a boot camp this morning. I've done boot camps in the past and when I have the right mindset, I really enjoy them. It's when I get a little burnt out of waking up so early (they are always about 5:30 or so in the a.m.!) that I start to struggle and then get frustrated and do not take advantage of them or I eat too much even though I'm working out. So, this one I am excited about - only 4 weeks @ 3 days a week. So, 12 one-hour workouts is all I have to do before I make a decision to join another month. Today was mostly strength training and I have a feeling I will be really sore tomorrow. Oh and I weigh in on this week again too. I hope I've lost at least a pound! I've been trying so hard to eat healthy. I also hope to keep up my walking habits a few times a week. And throw in a couple P90X's to keep me getting limber. I like P90x a lot and one thing I really like is that I feel like I am getting more limber all the time. I think a lot of it has to do with the stretching. There are really good stretches in there. Okay - later gater!
