I wrote in my journal today of what I ate all day and while I thought I didn't eat to bad, the point totaled out to be more than two days worth and used up all of the weekly additional points. This was very discouraging but eye opening. While I love WW, I have not been committed and don't typically check the points values of a food or meal PRIOR to consuming the meal so while I have this mus-construed idea of what the points are, I am typically wrong, otherwise I would be at my weight goal! The basic concepts are the same except I am encouraged to eat more organically with the Eat Clean diet. The biggest road block will be my family and potentially finances. I have to train my family that we eat what is served instead of me eating what I need to eat and making something different for the family. This results in my feeling like I am deprived and it is time consuming and wasteful as I am cooking two meals instead of one. I need to overcome this by carefully planning and making changes that appear to be "fun foods" for my kids and I think they will be on board. I have also begun walking more as I am attending classes as well so this requires me to walk on campus on a regular basis. This is good for me but I have been feeling like a big lard walking on campus as I am winded just climbing up one set of stairs. While I am challenging myself to simply just do it, I feel like a looser! i want to be the biggest looser!!! I want to loose 20 pounds before Christmas! I know this is totally do able ! I would like to loose 50 lbs by next Spring... I am not working right now so I have more time, one would think, now that I am not working but I still have homework, family, and the house and dog to take care of.. I must make my time a priority and it is going to be really nice when the kids start school in a matter of days. I will continue my careful planning and get prepared to start for next week to be my big first week!
