What a struggle all week. Started when the Brownie cookies arrived at the house and next all the treats from Halloween. I am so grateful to have lost anything this week. The control was in the meals, I stayed well within my limits. I will be more aware this week and start on some ideas for the Holidays soon to be here and how I will overcome them. Open to any suggestions... help...

I had a struggle all week to stay on track. I started out last Wednesday with Spagetti for supper the sauce was filled with veggies and yummy, but the pasta set me on cravings all week long. I even had a small roll which was a first since I started this diet. I will need to stay focused this week and get back control.

Had a lovely turkey dinner with my son and his wife was very considerate to prepare veggies we were able to eat making it easy to stay on program. I have found eating lobster and/or ham in the same week seems to slow down the losing - any idea why? I know salt, but I do not have a problem with retaining fluid so don't think that is the issue.

I have learned when you really want something bad enought you make good choices. We went out to supper twice this week and stayed loyal to our diet and best part is we enjoyed it and didn't feel like we missed out on something. We even went to a movie and the smell of popcorn was tempting but only when we first walked in. What a great feeling to overcome such smells. When I feel the urge to splurge, I add a few more veggies, raw turnip or even a small amount of protine. For the first time, I really do think this time I am going to make it.

Did great this week with two Thanksgiving dinners - stayed true, at times it was hard, but I am determined to get to my goal.
