In November, after taking allergy tests, I have found out that I was allergic to beef, oats, rice, wheat (maybe) and possibly lactose intolerant. I say that about lactose because after getting off the cheese, pudding, etc. anything with dairy (whey, lactose, sodium caseinate, etc.) starting on 12/27, I found that I was feeling better. I tested the theory on my hubby's birthday (1/01/13) by having a little of the ice cream they give as a surprise in the restaurant and I found that when we left the restaurant about a 1/2 later, my throat was closing. I ignored it, but remembered. Again, at a friend's later, she served ice cream cake and again, a 1/2 later my throat closed again. SO, even with my little brain, I figured out it may be the milk. BUT, I am going to get a test for lactose intolerance this month to make totally sure! Then starting in February, I am going to try to stay away from as much wheat products as possible, that's going to be fun because I love my pasta and bread. BUT, we'll see.
I am also going to start exercising again. SLOWLY, with pilates, Leslie Sansone's walking DVDs and then build myself back up again.

Slowly, BUT SURLY, I am on my way back down. Today (8/01/2012) I have finally started to exercise again. I know that this will help.

I screwed up. Now as of today, 7/18/2012, I am starting all over again. I finally put my sneakers on and am starting, very slowly, to exercise again.
Like it says up in the right hand box, "as long as it takes"!
Thank you for all the email reminders. You know it helped it finally get me off my butt and start all over. THANK YOU!

I have been bad lately about exercising, oddly enough, not about journaling my food, and there's a lot.
I will start today to be extra careful about how much of something goes in my mouth, and I'll try and stay below 1500 calories from now until Easter.

Since October 2, I am really trying. I haven't touched anything of a dessert variety. BUT, I am really struggling when it comes to my exercise. But I get up every day and do it. Oddly, once I start, I get into it. I just have to start and continue each day with a better mental attitude.
