Trying to stop drinking because it's unhealthy and it has too many carbs! The problem I'm discovering is that in trying to quit drinking, my body and mind are in "fight" mode. I have a drink and to balance it, I eat just a little bit. Over and over and over, I do that -- drink, eat; drink, eat, etc... Couple that with the fact that I should have been asleep hours ago means extra hours of eating and drinking.
Just drinking meant that I passed out without dinner, basically. Fewer calories and carbs but the wrong calories and carbs were getting cut out. That definitely wasn't healthy either.
I'm so sick of hearing myself talk about alcohol. I feel it feeding the bad, sick, unhealthy and possibly cancerous cells in my body every time I take a gulp.
I need to find out what can fill the void instead of drinking.

Finally had an alcohol free day yesterday. Yay! I hope I can keep it up. It's so unhealty, not to even mention all those extra carbs!!!

I ran out of alcohol last night. I'm hoping I find the willpower to just not buy anymore. It should be that simple!! I'm so tired of drinking my nights and weekends away. I have stuff I need to take care of and things I want to do, but alcohol has been basically stealing my time (and my money too for that matter). I will never get that lost time back but I can decide not to let it steal anymore dammit!
