14 February 2013

Phil left early for work today. I went to pour a cup of coffee and there next to the pot was a lovely Valentine's Day card. Oh what a man!

He does absolutely everything that makes my heart sing. I can't tell you how lucky I am to have found him. We do everything together. He's my constant companion. We sing together, cook together and pray together.

I haven't been on the site lately due to a lot of turbulent work status changes. My personal life has been off track and for that I apologize to all my buddies.

I just haven't had the wherewithal to pursue much more than what's been going on at work. It's a mess and I've filed a grievance and so have a lot of others who's lives have been touched by the hostile work environment we were in. Things are on the upswing however and I thank you all for your prayers and thoughts.

I wish all of you the best Valentine's Day ever! I sure have missed you guys.

I'm BACK! For the ATTACK! Gotta get my groove on with my favorite site and my favorite friends! I'm not going to bore you guys with my labor union dispute, but I will say, this has been a prayerful road recently! And Lord knows I have been missing ALL OF YOU!

On the bright side, today, Phil rescued a pitbull from a garage that she'd been abandoned in and left WITHOUT food and water. She's snoring next to me.

I contacted Linda Blair's and Shorty's Rescues (
We're in the West Coast of California) and let them know we're fostering her and looking for new amazing parents because she's that adorable! So placid, so sweet, so soulful! Now this is a biggy for me because I come from the land where pits are feared! All of our fosters have mostly been poodles, St. Bernards, horses, etc. We fostered one pitbull a couple years ago and I feared my house would be eaten by the time we found her a home...but this one...WOW! She's so placid and sweet. She doesn't chew a thing! She just loves a good rub and down she goes at your feet!

So here's my prayer request...find Gracie a good family...and surround Deb with all the right action needed for her job. I'll go into the details in a rant, I promise, but I didn't want to put everyone to sleep!

Looking forward to catching up on all your journals! It's the icing on the cake for me!
Love and God's Blessings to You all!
Thank you for reading my journal. I've missed you terribly!
