I am 52 years old. I am married and have 3 children ages 28, 21, and 14. I am a stay at home wife/mom. I homeschool my daughter. I also have a home based craft business and love my life. I have been overweight for years and have tried several times to lose weight but I have never had my whole heart in it until now. I became a member on here in 2015 but wasn't in the right frame of mind to be. I know better than anybody that I need to lose weight but until now I wasn't ready and I feel like you have to be ready yourself to make it work. I would love to have buddies on here to be my support and I will be the same for you!

Yesterday was my 5th week to weigh in and I have lost a total of 17 lbs! I am very happy with the results! This week I had a 1 lb. loss which is fine with me. I have done programs and lost weight fast only to gain it plus more back so this time I am doing it the right way and losing it slow and steady. I figure it is better to do that and keep it off as to lose it fast and put it right back on plus a few more pounds.

I have been at this for 4 weeks and have lost 16 lbs. so I am very happy so far! I love the healthy cooking that I am doing. I do not count calories, points or any of that I just simply do portion control. I have tried the counting, tracking, etc. and only end up giving up as it is way to stressful for me. Of course that is just me and the only reason that I shared what I do is in case someone else out there is like I am! Hope everyone has a great week!
