Hi everybody! Happy March! OK so I gained a tad but I'm not worried b/c I just came off a 42 hour fast so it can't be a real gain. I lost 18 pounds in February! My goal for March is 13 pounds. I realize this is aggressive but at my weight I can do it. I'm sure after I lose 100 pounds the weight loss will slow down.
This month I am concentrating on eating foods that don't upset my stomach after I break a fast. Seems like eggs, dairy, and nuts are out for now. I am going to break my fast with a protein shake, then for dinner try tomato and cucumber salad and chicken. If I'm still hungry I will eat some veggies. I will use olive oil as my healthy fat.
I joined a challenge to give up a vice during March. Of course I picked Diet Coke. I have been cutting down on Diet Coke for a month now but I think it will still be hard to do!
What are your goals for March? Does anyone else out there Fast?

Hi everyone! I made my February goal of 297! I'm finishing off a 42 hour fast so today is an eating (rebuilding) day so I'm sure I will gain a bit back. It technically goes up and down every day but I only weigh myself on the mornings of eating days. I have been going to the gym to walk on the treadmill most days. Doing well on that but it's slow. I walk 4 sets of 7 minutes with 3 min in between. Today I am going to extend sets 1 and 2 one minute each. I'm not tired stamina-wise, it's my leg muscles that are weak.
I have been going to various types of zoom support groups several times a day through The Fasting Method website. I think those help tremendously. I haven't binge eaten for a solid month, which is amazing for me.
OK I'm going go see what you guys are up to! Don't ever give up on yourself! ~Shelly
