Had such an emotional moment when I saw the numbers on the scale today...if someone had told me last year when I stumbled on FS that I would be in the 70s...I would have laughed my head off. Its beyond amazing what one can achieve with the right mind-set, hard work and support. Lord knows the road has been soooooooooo bumpy...
All I can say is 5:2 seems to be working wonders for me...been eating about 500-600 calories on fast days and about 1200 on non-fast days. well,been doing more of a 4:3 for the past 2 weeks...now wanna try make my meals more low carb...
Being part of #team5am is also helping with the toning...at this rate...I could be slipping into a size 36 by month end(last time I managed to squeeze into a 36 was back in 2007)...
Anyhoo, have an awesome week guys and lets be great:-)

Soooooooooooooo I have fallen off the wagon...past week and a bit has been tough...my cousin passed away so had to book last minute flight to NYC for the funeral...lol, junk food& alcohol have been keeping me comfy and I can totally see why Americans are soooooooooo big...everything is literally double the size of everything back in SA and don't even get me started on the sugar. Woke up this morning and just had that..."enough is enough" moment...took a deep breath and jumped on the scale...sadly I am back in the 80s...so time to start afresh...I arrive back in SA on Wednesday. I will weigh in next Monday...hopefully I will be at 80kg

Whoop whoop...have finally crossed the 80kg barrier...last time I was in the 70s was back in 2007!!I wont lie...I am feeling good and did my happy dance after my weigh-in:-)
So May has finally hit and I have hit the ground running. Woke up this morning at 5am to exercise...nothing fancy,just a Turbo jam(a beachbody DVD) session in the comfort of my home.Hoping to drop 3-4kg this month by adopting the 5:2 meal plan and doing at least 30 minutes of exercise everyday. Hoping to eat about 1200-1300 calories on non-fasting days and 500-600 on the 2 fasting days.
