Im just so excited!
Although my start weight here was 214, when I decided to get serious about my weight loss, I started on July 8, and weighed in at 218. So, I am officially down 10lbs! And I could not be more excited to have lost that kind of weight in just a little over a month.
My main motivations for this are a couple of things. The first is my own health. But the second is actually a trip that I am planning on making next May (2016) to Disney World, and Harry Potter World (at universal) in Orlando. In a place like florida, one spends a lot of time in shorts, and when on vacation, in a swimsuit. I want to get to a place with my body that I am comfortable in this stuff during the trip. Also, one of my best friends' boyfriend is from England. And he may he bringing some of his mates on the trip. And I am not interested in awkward low on space shove into two seater rides.
If anyone is wondering the diet program I am following came along with the Beachbody DVD, Cize, that I am using to work out. It basically comes down too, 3 proteins, 2 starches, two fats, three fruit, four veg, one dairy, and a treat. (like wine of a small amount of popcorn) Now that I have less that 60lbs to loose, Ill have to cut it down to 2 proteins, two fruit and 3 veg. One thing I enjoy about the program, is that it comes with a weekend survival guide, and understands that you still want to enjoy a night out with your friends, and it gives you a way to do that.

That's all folks!

I'm so excited to finally (hopefully) reach my weight loss goals. I have attempted to lose for about two years now, but as a full time University student, after summer ended, I would make excuses for myself about class being more important, and just not having the time.
My main motivation for this is my own self image. Although to be honest, I never really had a good self image. Looking back on when I was significantly skinnier, and weighed in at about 140, I still felt like I was large. In fact, I felt like a big ol whale. Which I like had a lot to do with the fact that most of my friends at the time were all size 0, so I did;t really have anything to compare myself too.
I would like to look in the mirror and be confident in what I see. I love to swim, but have avoided it because I hated the way I looked in a swimsuit.

My main concern in all of this is excess skin. However, my mother informed me that she never has had any problems with that in her weight loss, nor has my aunt, who has significant and large fluctuations in her weight her entire life. (I think she has swung from a 0 to a 22 to a 2 to a 26) And to be honest, looking at some of the pictures of what some people post of excess skin with the amount of weight I am trying to shed, it doesn't actually look that bad. So fingers crossed!

Thank you for all the support, I couldn't believe it when I logged in today! Thank you so much!
