Intro:

Ah! I've been meaning to get a journal for this new venture in life. I am excited that I am finally driven to achieve some weight loss goals! I have gained 30 pounds in the past 3 years and I am not happy with it. I really want to wear shorts this summer and look good! I'll be turning 26 and hope to start a family in a few years and before I do that I want to have lots of healthy habits and be at an ideal weight for my height!

Goals:

To no longer consume fried food. Switching vending machine snacks for fruits, veggies and nuts brought from home. Reduce my overall food consumption. Smaller portions for the win! And to not let impulse hungers drive me. I am in charge!
The exercise part will be more difficult. I don't like it but my body needs and craves it. I need to really start setting time aside in my day for me to spend more time toning my muscles. There is no reason I should look as flabby as I do. I deserve to have a healthy fit hot body!

I believe in myself and there are big changes to be had this year.
