Today was a non-stop day. Baby has been waking up at 7 am lately, and that is not enough time for me. I will hit the sack right after this post.

Things I know about myself. I stress eat. Some people have the fortune of losing their appetites during hard pressed moments in life...I look for the nearest bag of chips. Today, my mom came over, and that changed up baby's sleeping pattern, so not nap or down time for me. We decided to go grocery shopping, since it was clear that baby wouldn't go to sleep as long as grandma was around.

In normal fashion, baby girl threw a fit at your friendly neighborhood trader joes (TJs is for tantrums, Target is for pooping lol). Hightailed it out of there with some organic stuff for baby and fam, felt good about the choices and even skipped the bread and cheese aisle, with the exception of my most prized Ezekiel bread.

I had oatmeal and apple this morning for breakfast, but did not have time to make lunch before leaving, so I grabbed a handful of walnuts and rode out (mount up). I wanted to eat everything in the store as soon as we walked through those doors. As I said, I did a good job of resisting and got mostly greens, some chicken stuffs, and blue chips. Nom nom.

Got home after dropping mom off and baby was super sleepy so I took her to bed. I forget to mention, our doggy has been looking and feeling ill for the past two days, and didn't seem any better. He has been a source of stress all year, getting sick from his back on 3 seperate occasions *chronic* and now this. Called the vet, and they only had one slot open, in half an hour. So...wake up poor baby, take her to grandma's (thank God for grandmas) and drive with the pup to the vet. I am starving at this point, and still nothing in me (4:30 pm with breakfast at 9, bad me, bad bad me).

All in all, nothing they could do but hydrate him and give him pain relief meds, since it is probably his back. I really hate seeing him in pain, poor little guy. We get home at 6:30, and don't eat till 8...pizza. Poor choice but I did eat a lot less than I normally would. All that running around, I really hope it replaced some sort of exercise. Tomorrow is a new day. And this journal thing helps to unwind a bit. Smell ya later.
