Today is day 1, officially, of getting back to feeling like myself. I reached a point, about a month ago, where I stopped wanting to go out with my friends and family because I feel so miserable about my weight, none of my clothes fitting etc.
I'm following a low-carb/ Atkins style diet as it's given me wonderful results in the past. Today has been fine apart from the usual low energy that comes with the first few days of going low carb. I know from past attempts that if I can get to day 5 I'll actually feel much better and stick with it for the long(er) term.
I've also been reading Dr Murad's 'The Water Secret' so am following that, albeit in a modified way. As someone who is definitely addicted to sugar the inclusion of endless fruits doesn't suit me but otherwise it's brilliant. Here's to feeling like myself again!
