Started Keto for my future health. Alzheimer's runs in the family and neuroscientists today are starting to call it type 3 diabetes. My blood pressure was also high and giving me head aches. I started keto at 207lbs a little over 6 months ago. I am now at 162. 22 more pounds and I will be at my high school weight and back in a size 8. My blood pressure is back to my former abnormally low, 98/56 this morning.

Yes, I miss my favorite Salt and Vinegar Lay's Stax, but I eat all the homemade sous vide sugar free cheesecake with sugar free raspberry syrup I could possible desire. Trust me, it does not taste like a "diet" food. Life is about trade offs, and fitting into all my old jeans is a bonus.

My mom joined me on keto and has lost 35 pounds, a mean feat for an octogenarian.
