Well, here we are approaching the Fourth of July and I am traveling for the next 5 days...visiting family. I have decided my goal is to just stay the same during this trip. heading south and we all know what great cooks they all are!
I am happy to still have that arrow still pointing downward this week.
I am aiming for joy in the people I see, the things that I do...not the food that I eat!

Still heading downward and feeling good. The journey this time in my life feels good. At 69, a widow, and feeling so much more healthy, I am making plans.
Put the call out in my neighborhood looking for anyone who wants to go zip lining with me! Yep...found two volunteers...makes me happy because 40 lbs ago I would never even imagine such things....
Onward I go!

Yea....I finally broke the 200 lb barrier! I crawled to it, but never gave up. Persistence won out! Onward and downward!
Had to give away more large clothes and still managing to make do with what I have in the closet. If you see me with the same thing on multiple times...just smile and be glad I am dressed!
Heading to the 40 lb mark now...my half way point. I feel good about how I am feeling and glad for the extra energy I am experiencing. Walking no longer leaves me out of breath...I bounce up and down the stairs...not bad for a 69 year old fart like me!
