This was a long and stressful week. I'm not surprised I didn't lose weight. I ate out a few times and surpassed my calories a couple times.

Since the holidays I have been extremely careful with my diet. I'm eating smaller portions, bigger breakfast with a smaller dinner, and I've been substituting healthier items whenever possible. The most exciting part is that since I've had a cold and my university gym have been closed, I haven't worked out. This means that now I can get back in the gym, I feel like the weight can come off even more easily. I am very proud of losing weight, even if I am having to lose weight I shouldn't have gained in the first place. I am very optimistic and I'm going to continue being tough on myself!

The holiday season was not kind to me... As much as I tried to be healthy, there were so many amazing and delicious foods to tempt me. My family loves to serve up heavy, sweet, and fattening food during the holidays-- even though my mom is diabetic and my whole family is overweight.
