Hello long lost FS friends. I haven't weighed in in a month b/c I have a couple extra pounds and I didn't want to post the gain. Life is finally slowing down now so I need to get back on here regularly!!
Updates- I ran a 5K in May with my husband and this time my 11 year old daughter joined us. She did great and beat my time! She was at 28.53 and I was at 29.32. I beat my time from last year by over a minute, so was happy about that!
I am back into triathlon training which will be July 17. So, doing lots of biking and some running. I am adding swimming back in once a week also. I really need to get my head into losing these extra 5 lbs to help me feel better when I run, etc. It's all in my belly as always. The volume of exercise is there and good.
I changed positions at work and am really pleased with my switch. So far so good. I had been working an extra day a week and now am back to 2 days or 3 shorter ones. It will be much more flexible with my kids.

So, so busy lately with work and life. I haven't checked in with anyone in forever. Still holding 138. 5K run is next week, so I will be running more next week. Got the Jillian Michael's "30 Day Shred" dvd. Level one is pretty easy, and level 3 is hard! It gives your core a great workout. Just no time for any extras lately, but it looks like this week will be calming down. take care!

I have barely been on FS lately. I am barely holding on trying to keep up with home, kids, work, etc. So I have not commented on journals, etc- bad FS friend!
I will be doing another 5K run in May so I have been running pretty often. I went for a long run the other day and another run/walk this morning.
Since I have been stressed out lately, I noticed I have been eating more and thus, dealing with belly fat. Which turns into a hurt back from too much weight from the belly. I'm really trying to get this back under control. I could feel it while running. Clothes still fit fine- 6's and 4's are still good, but any extra weight I hold is in the belly which is not good.
Anyway, gotta go, but hope whoever my check in here is doing good on your journey. Take care.
