Felt guilty that I haven't been as committed to going to the gym everyday as I was. Been eating relatively better, but my downfall is "cheese and crackers." I could live on them. I have a cup of tea with cheese and crackers for breakfast. Not the breakfast of champions for sure! I'm beginning to think it's time to buy a new scale. I'm thrilled the number has gone down yet again, but somehow, I don't feel it. My clothes aren't any bit looser...hmmm...guess I shouldn't complain. I should just be happy that the number went down but somewhere down deep inside, I think its a mistake. I once again got on the scale thinking "ok, its probably up a pound or two, and that's ok as long as it's not like five pounds" Then I saw it was yet again down a little...shock!! I suppose if my jeans got a bit looser it would make me happier than any number on a scale. Stick with it folks. The road is LONG and yet, the time goes, whether we choose to travel down it or not.

Surprise, Surprise. Even though I weighed myself two days ago, I decided to weigh myself again today. The reason I did was because I didn't actually believe that I had lost more weight. I was afraid it was perhaps water weight and that by this morning the numbers would be right back up there. To my surprise, the scale said: 157.2. That's down another pound! I wanted to take a photo of the scale!! Haven't seen it read that in a long time. Funny thing is, years ago...I would scream if the number on the scale was that high!! After kids, I haven't been able to get it to go down. Now I look at it as a positive number (for now)!!
One thing I absolutely did change in my life: I found an old George Foreman Grill that I had in the closet. I have been grilling all kinds of vegetables with chicken/beef. I cook extra and eat the leftovers for lunch the next day. Suppose it's working!

Was amazed this morning that I had dropped like two pounds. I only went to the gym once this week. Too cold outside, any excuse will do. Now, I'm determined again to stay on track. Too often, the almighty SCALE has destroyed my mindset to keep working. I try to stay away from the scale and just do what I know is right. So often, in the past, I would weigh myself and because I might have gained a pound or so, I would give up. Today, I squeezed into my "before kids" pants. It felt so good. Tight, but good. I Will wear those jeans again and have them Fit properly ;))
