Why is that I don't feel hungry until I eat something. It's like once I eat I've just opened the door to constant eating. I think I need counseling. I just love food and cooking. And I like to eat a lot of food. not just itsy bitsy portions which is why I started the Atkins diet. It allows you to eat a bit more and still lose weight by avoiding carbohydrates. I fell off that wagon when I started dating again and little by little, even though I told myself I would go back to the strict phase of the diet when I gained a few pounds, it never happened. My boyfriend loves to eat cake and fried foods, and guess what, so do I. He came from the same situation as me. He was on weight watchers and lost about 30 lbs and gained most of back since he started dating me. I think we are bad for each other in that respect. When he wants to eat cake he will always ask me do I want some too. He knows that is my weakness....sigh. Well today I did fairly well. Had my green smoothie, backed chicken and roasted butternut squash, some ham slices and a few of my mom's fried potatoes (oops) My mom's potatoes are hard to resist. for dinner I just had coleslaw and some almond milk. hopefully I'll start to feel weight loss as I continue to avoid junk food and foods fried with flour, which is another weakness for me. All praises due to God for any success I have.

I am refusing to get on the scale or buy any new clothes until I'm within reach of my goal. Sweat pants are the only thing I'll allow...from Walmart.
