I grew up VERY active. I graduated high school at 98 lbs. This is okay as I am only 4 foot 11 inches. My average week was walking two miles a day, Roller skating 3 nights a week, instead of PE, I took modern fitness every year which was two days weights, two days aerobics, and one day nutrition, and I had one hour of flag team practice before school. I could eat 3000 calories a day and I stayed 98 lbs. Which is why I started gaining weight when I went to college. I managed to get most of it off by the time I was in my early 30's. But then I broke my ankle and severely sprained the other and gained weight. While trying to lose that again I developed a pinched nerve in my hip and plantar fasciitis. My doctor at that time didn't really treat it and it got so bad, before I found another doctor, that I had gained 100 lbs and developed diabetes. I'm had trouble taking it really seriously because it didn't really seem to bother me. Aside from always forgetting how fat I am, (my mental image of myself is still at 120 lbs). But lately I've started to have issues with blurry vision after lunch that goes away after a few hours and then again after dinner. So now I've started to really focus on it instead of half heartedly try to keep it under control.

Do you hate vegetables as much as I hate vegetables?
There is a japanese place in town that serves their tempura on a lettuce leaf that has been dipped into tempura batter and deep fried. Let me tell you, lettuce tempura actually tastes great. Not good for you but it tastes great.

Body measurements?
Great, I wasted my morning looking for where I can post my measurements as well. I was very frustrated that I couldn't find it anywhere. I had to go over to My Fitness Pal just to have a tracking record for my measurements.

I like very few veggies. Even though I crave fruits and veggies in the hot weather. Most of the veggies I like are too high in sugars. I'm glad that I have at least one healthy veggie I like. I'm a major cauliflower fan. This year I discovered I love steamed Brussel sprouts. Since I like so few veggies, I'm always happy when I discover one I do like. And these are fast and easy to steam in the microwave, sprinkle with some seasoning and toss a sprinkling of shaved parma one them and zap just long enough to get the parma to start to melt. I do like squash too, but it is harder to cook. Spaghetti squash is one I like but it gives me a stomach ache so I don't eat it often.
