HCG cream, not injections
I sure appreciate your input but don't agree. Dr. Simeons's diet has been scientifically tested and is sound. I sure liked my first round and the support forum I've been on concurs.

HCG cream, not injections
Dr. Simion first developed the diet using hcg in the 50's I believe it was. In his practice he and his colleagues realized the hormone directly affected the diencephalon of the brain (it houses the hypothalamus among others). The result was the body ridding itself of non-essential fat (our bodies have 3 types of fat). He began patients on a 500 calorie a day diet of very limited food choices and used injections of the hcg. (I would never use the injections) People had no hunger, very little cravings and thrived with weight loss. During and after my first round I felt pretty darn good. I did well on Dr. Simion's Phase 3 which is maintenance. The reason I gained some weight back is because I fell of the maintenance band wagon and started gorging on sugar like I used to. Knew what I was doing, did it anyway. Doing a 500 calorie diet without the hormone puts your body into starvation mode. With the hormone you have the nutrition from the fat as it's being eliminated. I absolutely love this diet and I look forward to maintenance and practicing staying away from the sugar.

HCG cream, not injections
I've started my second round of HCG topical cream. The first time I lost 45 pounds. I gained 16 or so over a couple of months but have my head back in it now to take that off and keep going, then to succeed in maintenance. I'm asking the good Lord to help me.

I'm new here too but no stranger to weight loss and support groups. I like to keep things simple and I don't want to be so focused on what's wrong with my body that I never live with other thoughts at the forefront. As I nurse I suggest you go to your doctor and get some blood work to make sure you don't have an underlying condition contributing to this. Secondly, do simple things that burn calories but don't feel like you're compelled to go through it. Standing burns more calories than sitting. Just simply standing. I put music on and dance, and I don't care how I dance, I just simply move. Doing house work with the bending, stretching, reaching is so positive and is great exercise. Keep it simple and put something else at the forefront of your mind.
