I am a 50 year old mother of three children, ages 23,21 and 14.
I work full time. I am a trained interior designer that loves my job and loves anything crafty. There is not much that I won't try doing when it comes to crafts.
When it comes to food I am less than willing to try things. I am a picky eater so this dieting thing really has me in a tizzy. I have the weight of a smaller woman to lose to get to my goal weight.

Tasty frozen dessert bites
I froze grapes just a week ago. Some were rolled in jello powder and lemonade to make them more like sour patch for my daughter.

weigh in
Try not to eat less than 1200 calories a day for too long a period. If you do, you may end up sending your body into starvation mode. A few days at the lower will work...but then up the calories over 1200 for a day or two and then you can go back down. Just a bit of experience talking!

Older women????
Hey there gals...I started a group for those of us 45+ years. It is called "Golden Girls". We are worth our weight in gold...no matter what that weight is...
Come join me and let's see how many of us that are out there.

Older women????
Hello Elise...Welcome...

Glad you found us "older girls"! We are all here to help. Let us know if you have questions. Some have been on here longer than others. I find that it is harder to lose as you get older. I think it is because we tend to not be as active. I am hoping to change that for me this spring. Now that I have been down 50 lbs from where I started there are no more excuses (except for my separated shoulder that is).
