Lots and lots of cheating at Christmas. I got back up to 154 and I am now back at 147. I've been going strong for a week now.

I haven't had sugar in 2 weeks! :-) I'm feeling great again. I had so many sugary snacks before getting back on track 2 weeks ago and I've been holding strong. I've been able to resist buying myself something sugary because "just one won't hurt". Except for the fact that "just one" turns into something every day, every day turns into twice a day, etc. Yesterday, I turned down peanut butter fudge and chocolate cake at work. Honestly, I would've been able to turn down the peanut butter fudge anyway because I'm not a HUGE peanut butter fan anyway. I'm sticking to my new keto macros and it's helped tremendously. My blood sugar level is down and my weight is down 3lbs since sticking to these new macros.
I have to just say, I read on someone else's post a comment that stated a high protein ketogenic diet is the way to go and they were recommending to cut out the fat. There's no such thing as a high protein, low fat ketogenic diet. Ketogenic is LOW carbs, HIGH fat and MODERATE protein.
I mentioned it in a previous journal entry but the macros I'm on right now are:
1455-1533 Calories
20g Carbs
70-80g Protein
122-130g Fat
So far, this change-up has been working for me. I'll keep these until I stall again.
The pictures below are this morning vs last December. A 22lb difference. I began eating Ketogenic this past March and that's when the weight began melting off. No more shin pain from inflammation. No more high cholesterol numbers. No more high triglyceride numbers. No more bloatedness. No more feeling tired. No more feeling crappy physically.
