I'm fairly active my exercise of choice is weight training, however I do some cardio along with that. I have been stuck at this weight for a while even though I eat how I thought was very healthy and that was a low fat and what I thought was fairly low carb, high protein diet. However, I have recently learned that this could be why I am not losing..my body is converting that extra protein to glycogen. I have learned that the fuel of choice should be ketones which forces my body to burn fat. I am just starting out on this new journey after years of frustration with the other way of eating. I also found out a few months back I am insulin resistant which first of all floored me...but is a big reason I am probably not losing that 10 pounds I want to lose. It's not about the scales either, it's about how I feel and the fat in places it wasn't when I was younger that won't budge now. I found a product that is new in which I can deliver the ketones to my body so I will be looking forward to this new journey.
