Wow! I am so glad to have found this site. I think I actually found this site a couple of years ago but never really used it till now...

Well, I will start off by talking about my weight and how it has affected my life. Growing up I always had a petite frame. I didn't eat much and was prescribed Ensures when I was 13 years old because I was anemic and too small for my age/height. After that, I started to gain weight. It was the healthy kind.

Fast forward a couple of years later. I got married at 19 years old. I was 130 pounds when I got married. I moved from NYC to Fort Bragg, NC as my husband had joined the Army. Soon after we moved to NC, he deployed to Afghanistan for 15 months. While he was gone, I didn't really eat much. I was depressed and had no friends, so I would gain weight and lose weight the whole 15 months he was gone.

In 2008, he gets back from Afghanistan and we all know that when you are in love, you gain weight. So I gained about 10 pounds. I kept gaining weight all thru 2009 and 2010.

In October 2010, I was 164 pounds! That was the heaviest I've ever been. It might not seem like a lot to many people, but I am short, only 5'3. That much weight on my frame does not look good.

By the time I realized how big I have gotten, my husband was getting out of the Army and we moved again. I joined a gym and started working out on a regular basis. My husband has been my main motivation!

From November 2010 till now, I have lost about 15 pounds (not a lot, but I'm still proud). My goal is to weight between 130-135. So I have an extra 15-20 pounds to lose to reach my goal weight.

However, I have accepted the fact that I may not have to get to my goal weight as long as I get to my goal size. Or to the point where I am 100% confident with my body. I just want to lose weight, gain some muscle and tone up my body. Once I accomplish that, I will be in the best physical shape of my life. =0)
