I haven't been following any diet at all really lately! It's been a long time since I logged in, and I haven't been feeling very inspired ever since the holidays and all that delicious, unhealthy food was everywhere. Having four different xmases with various parts of my partner and my families didn't help. It can be extremely difficult to stick to any sort of diet around family, especially old fashioned family that doesn't really understand or value health.

Anyway, it's getting towards the end of January now so I should start getting over the holiday lazies soon. I have worked out once or twice this month- not very much. My goal is to go to the gym five times a week; ideally I would do cardio just about every day.

My boyfriend is actually a certified personal fitness trainer so I get advice on diet and exercise from him, which is sort of helpful, except that I sometimes feel like it's too much. Hearing about health and fitness all the time kind of gets old, especially when I'm in the middle of eating a sugary/fatty comfort food :3 I don't want to be made to feel guilty about eating! That's not going to help anything.

This journal is turning out longer than I meant it to! I'll try to write in it regularly and start logging my food again. I think that will help me keep on track.
