Oh why am I so stupid????? I listen to myself "Oh, take the night off for the fairytale ball since they dont have anything Atkins friendly to eat here, it's a special occasion, you can go right back tomorrow...... Grrrrrr here I am only 3 days later and 6 pounds up....... Are you kidding me...... I wonder if I will ever make any long term progress........ :-(

Took the day "off" on purpose yesterday for dinner at the "Fairytale Princess ball" with my daughter. We had a fun night but the only dinner available was NOT Atkins friendly. Oh well, it's cool and no weight gain this morning! So, back at it this morning with my bacon and eggs! ;-) How much have you guys found cheese matters? I REALLY like it but see it says to have it in moderation. If you simply count the carbs is that enough or can it be a stumbling block? Thanks!!

Hanging tough, still at 99% compliance for about 10 days and it is really becoming a habit and getting me motivated when I see the scale come down a little but everyday. I know this wont go on forever but I am working it as hard as I can while it lasts. I am eating induction level carbs and trying to drink more water. Still not journaling but I know I will need to come back to that. Basically, as long as it is Atkins friendly I am eating whatever I want but it HAS to be BY THE BOOK and if I am hungry or want something to eat I have something.
So, here's to eating when you're hungry or jonesing but make it BY THE BOOK!!!

Breaking through this 40 pound barrier finally. It is in sight now as of this morning I am down 39 and headed back in the right direction for a while now. I promised myself I would go a week solid with NO cheating or straying and see how well I can really do and break this stalemate I have had at about 35 pounds. I am getting excited as I have been able to start playing around in the "skinny" (lol) side of the closet....... I have not been journaling but I have had NOTHING that is anti-atkins for almost a week. ONLY, meats, weggies, salads, water, diet pop (I know) and crystal light. The great thing is we have had 3 birthday parties and I have had NO treats!!! There are 4 cupcakes sitting on the counter and ice cream in the freezer and I am being good!!!! Yeah me!!!!
