It's almost time for a weigh in, but I am so nervous after the holiday. I was pretty well behaved, but that really doesn't mean much for me. I am having a hard time keeping balanced right now, more life-wise than with my diet. I have to ingest extra calories since I breastfeed, and I live in a kind of paranoia that I will mess up with that.
I have until April to get to my goal weight or close to it. My husband and I are finally going to get our wedding pictures done (on our fourth wedding anniversary, lol), and I want to look amazing when we do!

I know you aren't supposed to weigh in until you reach the two week mark, but I had to know this morning. I guess old habits die hard. I was so excited when I stepped on the scale to find out I was down 3 pounds! I am going to start the exercise program today, so hopefully it will kick my metabolism into high gear.
My husband is following the diet as well, mostly to build muscle, and we have been trying the recipes in the book, and I have to say that so far we are enjoying the shift.

Okay, here we go. Time to move in a new direction. I hope I can make the transition from Weight Watchers without too much difficulty. I guess we'll find out in two weeks!

I haven't been on program for a couple of weeks. Okay, more like a couple of months....at least since my last WI on 09/21. For some reason I was having a hard time staying motivated. But I am trying to rededicate some time and effort for myself. At the beginning of last week, I weighed myself and had ballooned back up to 192.4 pounds. That was my wake-up call.
I feel really accomplished this week. We took the kids to Sea World, and they have a new healthy restaraunt there, so I was able to stay close to on plan. 3.4 pounds in a week is great no matter what, but to have done so well with a little vacation in there makes me more motivated than ever.
I am planning to have wedding pictures taken in April. My husband and I couldn't afford to do it when we actually got married, so it will be an anniversary gift to ourselves. I have to look good in these pictures! Right now, it is the biggest motivator I have. I need to lose another 44 pounds to be at my goal weight, and I have plenty of time to do it, so wish me luck!
