I don't know if it was the new medicine or the heat we had this last week that brought this about. We had usually hot weather here and my appetite sucks in hot weather. I would not be surprised if I had a gain next week even though I have moved up to the 1.8 mg dose now and I will stay at that till my next doctor appointment.

So a week has gone by on the Victoza. I didn't change my eating habits but we had a bunch of sweet things in the house that we don't usually have. My weight stayed exactly the same. Today my dose goes up to double the dose for another week and then it will go to the max dose after that. So far no negative side effects.

My doctor started me on Victoza on Friday. I not sure if it will be helpful or not. I have Interstitial Lung disease and Lupus which has me on multiple medications such as steroids that influence my weight to go up badly. I have been doing ok on my own but we will see. If it gets me to my goal faster than I'm all for it!

Can someone please tell me what the colored lines mean? Does it indicate meal plans? or the amount someone is trying to lose? I just can't find information on it and don't want to step on anyone's toes as a newer person here. Thank you!
