Out of the 230’s yay! I’m finally getting somewhere! Don’t know how the next couple of months will go. Found out yesterday I have to have surgery. I have a cyst on my ovary that has more than doubled in size in the last month. It was 4.6 cm, and now it’s 11 cm. For reference, that’s bigger than a newborn baby’s head. 🥺 Anyway, there’s also some internal changes in the cyst that the doctor said doesn’t automatically mean it’s cancer, but it does mean she’s not leaving it in there. So, I’m having surgery in two weeks. I’m looking forward to the pain being gone. I’ve struggled with pain from this cyst for over two months now. Anyway, on a health note, gonna try to do some light walking over the next couple weeks because I know having my activity up beforehand will help my recovery.

Okay, time to face the music and record this number. I have been absolutely awful with my eating and any sort of healthy living the last 5 months and it truly shows. Being diagnosed with Hashimotos in January has not helped matters any. I have not been drinking enough water, I started drinking pop again. I eat any and everything that sounds good whenever I want. Exercise has been a big fat zero. I'm telling you it been awful, and now I'm at the absolute highest I've ever weighed. I'm miserable. My clothes don't fit, and I can't keep going because I refuse to buy bigger clothes and I can't go around naked lol.
So starting over. I am increasing my water (aiming for 100oz/day), cutting out fried, fatty foods, and watching portion sizes. Also trying to cut down/improve what carbs I eat and eat more fruits and veggies.
Exercise is another matter. Energy is a memory to me anymore. I'm hoping it will return at least some by improving my diet. But overall, it takes everything I have to get through work and then come home and do essentials for my family in the evenings before crashing. I really want to incorporate some yoga so I at least have some improved mobility and flexibility. I've been getting more stiff, the joint pain has been bad--I don't know if that is hashimoto's or just from extra weight.
Anyway, here's to goals and not continuing to live miserable! Have a great day everyone!
