Woot! So glad to see the scale keep moving downward. Haven't seen the 141s for a while. Hope I don't see them for long. I like this intermittent fasting thing. Seems to be working for me. Last night had my last food at midnight-gig nights are late nights-So I am going to try to wait to have my first meal today at 2. Tonight I am going to a house concert that my band and I put on each year for fans that have become friends. That means lots of food, wine and chocolate. I will do my best not to overindulge. But, I will allow myself some of each and then get back on track tomorrow. Happy Saturday, All!

I didn't get to workout yesterday and may try a home workout today because I have my day job and a gig tonight. BUt I want to try to get at least a good high intensity workout in for at least 15 minutes today. I am liking this intermittent fasting thing and the more I study it the more health benefits besides losing weight I see. I shall keep trying. I am happy to see the loss today. Was hoping for 139 by tomorrow. Oh, well. I will take this loss and just keep trying. Aiming for 1500 calories or less.

Had a fairly stressful day yesterday. Had wine. But still managed to work out-that felt good- do my 16/8 IF and stay under 1500 calories-I think_.... gonna just keep swimming, as Dori would say. I want instant results. Oh well, I'll take gradual if that is what I get. It's better than none and it's better than going up, up, up. Yes?

Feeling frustrated cuz my weight went up instead of down. But I am just believing that that is water weight. Cuz I haven't gone over 1600 for a few days and I have burned at least 700 calories on the treadmill. SO, going up is not really possible. I am trying the 16/8 IF again today. Wasn't too hard last night. Like what people are saying about all of the benefits of it, not just the weight loss part.

I am doing well. The numbers haven't gone down in a couple of days. But that is likely due to the fact that I am having popcorn and with it salt. I retain water like crazy with added salt. Gonna have to give up my precious popcorn and find a different alternative to red wine and chocolate. Tonight, however, I am allowing myself 2 glasses of wine. Then none for 3 nights. No popcorn on those nights either. We shall see......
So proud of myself for my great workout yesterday... 4.5 miles and over 700 calories! Yes! It felt great!
