Today is protein shake day. Yesterday was fasting day. The first shake is down. 4 more to go throughout the day. The ones I got aren't so bad because they aren't the "real thing". I got the Carnation Breakfast shakes to try because I can't stomach the nasty protein powder and water concoction. I think I could actually like these. I got 4 of the premade chocolate ones and packets to make the french vanilla ones when mixed with milk.
I didn't drink enough water yesterday. I had 1 cup of coffee, 1 cup of tea, 1 diet soda and the rest water but I have a headache today so I know I'm a little dehydrated.

Right back to where I started. Went skiing yesterday too. That confirms it...downhill skiing = weight gain. Happens every time.
Oh well, it will be a good test of this new eat stop eat thing I'm supposed to be doing.
I did the eating everything I wanted yesterday thing. So today is "fast day". Tomorrow will be protein shake day. I don't get to weigh myself again until the beginning of the next 5 day cycle now though. This will bother me so I may have to sneak a hop on the scale.

Not feeling too well. Very bad headache yesterday and today bodyaches and headache. Didn't food journal yesterday as there was really nothing to journal. Today, much of the same.

I have now read through Phase 2. I can see why he hid this from me.
I am really going to have to get used to this idea before I'm brave enough to do it and I need some more education about how to modify this to fit the confines of my available time.
Day 1-Eat whatever I want.
Day 2-Fast-non calorie liquid and supplements only.
Day 3-Protein Shakes only-5 meals
Day 4-Moderate Carb day-5 meals
Day 5-All Protein day-5 meals
This goes on for 5 cycles of 5 days and then we see what has happened.
It is supposed to help the metabolism keep firing which is why we had to GET it firing first I suppose.
No weighing or measuring except for once every cycle which will bug me.
Having to eat (and eat a LOT) one entire day of every 5 days will bug me too.
I'm excited about the fasting and shake days though...my kind of eating! LOL!
This is where I have to decide how much I trust him.

My calorie count is dropping. And my meal frequency is declining. I have to get that back to where it belongs or I am going to have trouble again. I'm just tired of eating all the time. Why oh why do I lack that part of the brain that registers hungry and full? Thirsty I understand. Hungry...not a clue. I just eat when it's "time" to eat. Oh well.
