I'm so so so tired of going up & down and this weekend I put on a pair of pants I bought in December and it wasn't pretty. In addition, I'm starting this new job soon teaching kids theater and I'll be constantly running around, being extremely active at work, and waking up eeearrly. So I need to get my body to love me again if I want to survive July.
AND I want to get a bartending job so I gotta look smokin. Or, as close to "smokin" as I can. This would also be the second summer I cannot wear a bikini and I will NOT let that become the norm.

AND SO. Here are my goals:

Be purposefully active every day.

I do a lot of walking in my every day life, but getting to the gym (or doing at-home work outs) is mentally difficult for me.

Use your damn brain
When it comes to eating, I know all the rules. I know all about nutrients and fiber and antioxidants and protein and calories and fat but sometimes I pretend I never knew anything. Bad, bad.

Don't drink so much
As a college student, and a wino, and one who parties often... I drink often. But that doesn't necessarily mean I need to drink a LOT. "Pregaming" with an entire bottle of wine is, well, about 1000 calories more than I need.

Don't spend so much money on food

I can get just about anything delivered to my front door on demand. This makes for way too many $20 meals. There are thousands of restaurants in New York City... this makes for way too many $100 meals. I can't keep spending my money and my calories the way I have been the past few months. I used to cook all my meals, I need to reeeeally try to do that again.

Believe that I can do it
I'm my own worst enemy. I need believe that there IS that thin person inside of me that enjoys living an active lifestyle. Right now, my favorite things to do are eat, drink, and watch movies. I'd like my favorite things to be activities that don't involve dooming me to a lifetime of gluttony.
