On May 19, 2009 I started walking and drinking at least 64 ounces of water a day. I have lost 30 pounds so far. On September 1, 2009 I will be starting a corporate wide contest for walking at least 10,000 steps a day. I have been training for this already and have been able to walk almost 16000 steps a day. Not hard when you keep focused and keep moving. The pedometer I currently use is from Curves. I purchased it through Avon. It works great and even talks. If there is anyone else out there who is doing a walking program I would like to hear from you. It takes a lot of encouragement to keep moving and I need all I can get. I like to encourage anyone who is trying to be a healthier, happier and thinner you!! Keep moving!
