I am 26 yrs old. I am the single mother of a 6, 5, and 1 yr old. I work from home doing marketing research. My goal weight is 130 lbs. I currently weigh in at 145 lbs. After my 3rd child I weighed in at 163, it has taken me 10 months to get to 145! I need to figure out a much more structured program to help me reach goals and maintain my home!

How do you handle your children?
Wonderful! I myself have been doing the same thing for the past couple years now. Tryng to make sure to teach them good habits so that when they leave my nest they will continue to live a healthy lifestyle. I have also switched to organic and gluten free foods. My kids love them! The switch was due mostly to my daughter's pediatrician recommending it for her ADHD to cut back on the yucky chemicals going into her system. But I find I love the tastes as well! My oldest asked me to purchase her a treat food like others at her school have for snack (she purchases hot food lunch through the school, which I am thankful is also serious on health needs, they have a salad bar!). Well I purchased her some pretzels with JIF single cups of peanut butter to dip it in for her snack during first recess. She looked at me and said "Mommy, you really need practice on buying junk food, you aren't very good at it. But thank you anyways, it's still yummy. I appreciate you making sure I don't develop more fat cells."
