wow so it's been nearly a year since i posted an actual entry on here! well.. after a month of healthy eating with no junk food at all, i caved on a bag of peanut m&ms and it went downhill from there. surprisingly, the 10 lbs i lost didn't come back, which was a nice surprise. anyway, i'm going to try again this time, allowing myself to eat out somewhere once a week, even if it hinders my progress a bit.

i've been trying to really watch my sugar intake.. it's hard because i love sugar - i really love it. but it's not worth it for me to stuff my face with it because i'm not nearly active enough to burn it all off later. same with carbs. i just have my cheerios in the morning and try to eat meats and veggies throughout the day. unfortunately for me, i'm genetically at risk for a lot of heart issues and diabetes (curse you apple body, huge stomach and waist) hopefully cutting out a large chunk of sugar and doing interval exercises will help prevent any additional inches to my waist and shed this fat!

on a positive note: i've grown to actually really enjoy broccoli. i used to only like it if it was in a sauce but now i can eat it just lightly steamed with no complaints. yay broccoli :) also, i've been trying to run a mile every day, shins permitting, to see how long it takes for me to build my endurance back up. i want to start running 2 miles eventually, then 3.. it just feels so good after when your whole body is aching! reminds me of my preteen gymnastics days. i've also been enjoying some beginner yoga that has been pleasantly relaxing. oh how different the body feels after an adequate stretch.

anyway, that's about all i can really think of.. i'm craving a smoothie right now, i actually had a dream about it lol. take care to anyone who reads this and good luck, good vibes, and best wishes on all future endeavors!! :)
